The development of Internet as a source of medical information becomes a very important issue that affects many stakeholders such as hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, health authorities and, most importantly, patients. Among these groups, hospitals are institutions that best represent health sector, hence the interest to understand how these organizations use Internet to communicate with different targets and how these institutions disseminate to these publics several information about medical treatments, diseases, etc. Although, normally, Internet is considered as a communication tool aimed mainly at young people, we can say that, in French hospital context, this reality is much different. This paper analyze, on the one hand, the role of Internet as a tool for hospitals to communicate with their four main generational targets (children, adolescents, adults and seniors), and, on the other hand, the importance of this media to help these four audiences to communicate between them.
